November Meeting Minutes!

Alright, sorry for the delay guys, but here's what happened at our last meeting;

Treasury Report: $16,485.03 (This balance is prior to the banquet, trophies, and pay-out checks being paid for.)

Old Business-

We are staying with the current rules for the Junior sprints:

Blue (Stock) coil, and aftermarket rods can be used.

Rules for 600R:

The issue was brought up about injection, and what can and can not be used, was asked if a stock throttle body could be the requirement. (Discussion curbed, Paul is thinking about it.)

The 600R class WILL be running Clay Cup Nationals this coming season.

New Business-

An iPad will be purchased prior to the banquet to donate to the Mount Baker School District in Bailey's name.

If everyone could come up with ideas for who they think should get our yearly $500 donation, please bring your ideas to the next meeting! (December 11th).

Club Officer Nominations for next year- It was voted on, and passed unanimously that the current officers will stay in office for this coming season.

Your officers are:

           President-Kelleigh Johnson

           Vice-President-Jason Bloodgood

           Secretary-Nikki Ramey

           Treasurer-Kim Lemley

Transponder location was also an issue that was brought up, Spud Allen said that in California, the transponder is 22-24" from the front axle and 12" off the ground. Paul was going to think about it, but he doesn't want it to go past the panhard bar.

Paul brought up that the noise level in the open class has been loud this past season, and is thinking about regulating mufflers. If you are loud, you will be DQ'ed for qualifying, and you will be teched.

There is a possiblity of the 1200 class going wingless this year, Paul will call a meeting with all 1200's driver if he decides to make that decision.

The track plans on having the midgets up for about six races this year!

Mike Allen brought up grievance commitees and if they will stay the same.

The track is in need of safety volunteers who are interested in making sure that driver's safety equipment is up-to-date and good to go! Let him know if you're interested!

Meeting adjourned.

If you guys have any questions, PLEASE get in contact with me (Nikki) or any other club officer!

Due to scheduling conflicts with the venue, our next meeting will be at the Mount Vernon Round Table Pizza on December 11th at 7 PM. Remember to pre-order your food 24 hours in advance for a discount! See you all there. :)

I would love to see the 1200 class go non-wing.  It would offer a better variety for the fans in the stands and probably some better racing in the class.
