Well the first thing on my list is all the great people at the track. There are so many helpful people in the pits. It's always the coolest thing ever when you see a car roll in on a caution and people from different crews run over to see what they can do to get that person back on the track, or if you need a part and others will say "hey i got that here ya go". lol this is where I must add thanks to John for the use of the spare carbs this weekend from the Volbreck crew!!! I greatly appreciated them Then I have to say the FOOD comes in at a strong second lol. Anyhow there are so many things about Deming that are great I could list them all night! Deming Speedway changed my life and I could never try to Catagorize what I like about it because everything about it is great!!
It's good to see a posting tha encourages a reply and discussion here. This is truly a good question and the replies could indeed fill a book but for me it's the true RACING which involves drivers giving room and showing that it takes skill to get around the track and enjoy the competition. Racing is not crashing and although it happens you can't win in the first turn or the first lap. Racing actually happens at Deming Speedway and this show is what fills the stands. PS I am not Eric
