Time to go wingless!!

The new clay has enough bite that it wont be a big change to switch over to wingless. maybe run 2 sets of hot laps to give guys and extra feel for the track.  or throw in an exhibition main after a couple winged shows to get some seat time before we run a full wingless show.  Would be great to mix it up instead of 5 classes of winged sprints night after night.

You can't go wingless Track RULES say no cars run on the track without a top wing.

u cant run without a wing against winged cars, but the topic is suggesting an all non wing race, which would be a great thing to do and a lot of fun, i know we have done it before in the past, a good memory of it was AJ going over the fence in turn one

I agree it would be a fun thing to do myself never running without a top wing before..... but i think that it should be a non-points night if something like this happends.... Ryan

The non-wing races were fun but the memory of AJ going over the fence was not a good memory.

While AJs flip was a little spectacular, it doesn't hold a candle to that carnage on the backstretch last race in the 600s.  And I believe every one of those cars had not one but two wings on them.  Now having said that,(just to stir the pot) I am a firm believer that anyone who feels they don't have the skills necessary to drive a car without a wing, should not be forced to run that way.  I'm in favor of a non-points non-winged event.
