HELLO WE ARE PLANNING ON RACING AT THE CC THIS YEAR AND IN CALIF WE HEAR THINGS LIKE THERE WONT BE ANY 250'S RUNNING THIS YEAR! REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE DEMING SITE SAYS I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE DEAL IS AND IS THERE A WING RULE FOR THE CC FOR YEARS IVE HEARD THAT THERE IS A WING RULE AND SOME SAY NO THERE ISNT YOUR SITE SAYS JUST 610,38COMP TIRE AND A FUEL CHECK AND THATS IT I NEED TO KNOW STRAIGHT FROM THE HORSES MOUTH...PLEASE. THAT IF I PACK MY 3 250S UP THERE THAT ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE WONT BE ANY 250'S THIS YEAR AND THERE IS A WING RULE I WILL BE VERY UPSET(PISSED OFF WE CALL IT IN CALIF)I DONT KNOW WHY THE CONFUSION OR WHAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE INFO SOURCE HERE BUT I WANT TO KNOW..NO B.S. AND SINCE I ASKED ABOUT THE WING RULE RATHER THAN TELL ME THAT THERE IS ONE WHY DONT YOU TELL ME WHAT THE SIZE IS IN TERMS OF SIDE BOARD HEIGHT AND LENGTH AND BELLY WIDTH AND LENGTH DONT JUST GIVE ME SQ FOOT THAT DOESNT TELL ME ANYTHING. AND THANKS WE ARE FROM THE EVERETT AREA AND I WORKED IN BELLINGHAM FOR MANY YEARS AND WE ARE LOOKING VERY MUCH FORWARD TO WHAT WE CALL GOING HOME TO SEE AND RACE WITH OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY STILL RESIDING IN WASHINGTON STATE WE DIDNT RACE MICRO'S WHILE RESIDING THERE SO ITS THE ONE GOOD THING WE HAVE DONE SINCE MOVING TO CALIF. BESIDES THE MONEY
To help you with your questions: First if you look at the Clay cup page is says that the tire rule is for the 1200 and 600 classes only. As for the 250 class it has always been included in all of our advertising So there will be 250's at Clay Cup. So where you heard otherwise is not a reliable source. As for the wings, the 250 class has always followed the national Modified midget rule for the 250's. If you want measurements you can find them on page 22 of the Deming rules page rule : 7.27. If you have any further questions feel free to contact us directly by phone or e-mail
Mark, we have had between 10 and 14 cars at every race so far this year. In past years some of the 250 jrs have also signed up for the Clay Cup. Also there are several cars sitting at home that I expect might show up. It's great to hear you're planning on coming up. If you have any questions at all about gearing, setup, etc., send us and E-mail at Speedy29@gte.net, and we'll do all we can to help you out.
