With all of the rain we are getting this week, and the current forecast for saturday, will playday be moved to Sunday? The current forecast shows Sunday being the best chance we have of getting some laps in.
With gas prices on the rise....any advance warning is much appreciated by those of us that travel longer distances to get to the track.
I will call and speak with Paul today but he has previously said that if Saturday Playday is canceled all cars will run on Sunday pending Sunday weather.
I will re-post after my conversation with him.

Okay I spoke with Paul a big news flash for everyone because I know most of us thought otherwise but Paul has informed me that he is not in fact God although he may resemble him ever so slightly. Okay all joking aside, Paul will make a decision regarding Saturday as early as possible on Saturday morning. Because we are scheduled to start in the afternoon and because it is a PlayDay we have some flexibility built in which means it may be possible to start much later if we need to and use the lights. Paul is willing to do that if necessary.
He understands the fuel issue and empathizes with you on the cost of dragging your trailer up to Deming and then having a race or event canceled but certainly he controls neither the fuel prices or the weather and when he has a rain event is generally losing far more than any of the race teams that make the trip. Nobody wants to get in a night of racing more than Paul Lemley and he will continue to try to do everything within his ability to give it a shot.
If Saturday is canceled Playday on Sunday is open to all cars.
Thanks,
Kelly
