I was only able to make Thursday's show, but what an awesome 600 main event!! To watch Hogarth work on the leader lap after lap and finally pass him (Cook?), only to break a few laps later....what a heartbreak. Then watching Cook fight off Heath for awhile, only to have the #20 run high and wide to pass for the lead and the win...great stuff!
The 1200s are always impressive, and I don't know how they run those "big" cars that fast and close on that narrow track. I hope Hallmark is OK after that ugly flip down the frontstretch. Congrats to Fischer on the win.
I had hoped to present Friday to watch some of my Oregon friends race (Lyons and Barraza), but I heard they put on a good show. Looking forward to next year's event!
