Clay Cup Payout for 250s

On the home page, it states that the payout for 250s will be altered if there are not 25 or more cars.  Would you please provide details on how it will be altered.  I think it is only fair to know what the purse will be.

There is no way at this point to know how much it will be reduced. It will be totaly dependent on car count and right now there are not enough 250's for a heat race. The track is not going to gaurantee the same purse to a class of that size, considering we are looking at better than 80 cars in the 600 and 1200 class. If the registration picks up then maybe a payout can be determined but how can you with the numbers we have at this time. As it says on the front page for those who are planning attendeing Clay Cup with a 250 you should take the time to register so that we all know what we are dealing with.

Thanks

DS

has the track posted the min. age so the prospective 250jr's know who would be allowed to move up. that may help drum up some cars

I think it is great that they have a good car count in the other classes, but why would you cut the 250 class if they are alittle behind in car count, seams that the class that kept your track going for so many years is now getting the short end of the stick, i have allready heard from guys down south that arent going to come because they have us only running 2 nights allready, and others that are fearing the pay cut dont want to come. I think it sad to help kill the 250 class there also.
