Dustin O'brien and crew traveled to Lemoore Raceway in California to race in the Budweiser Grand Prix this past Saturday.
Dustin took two cars down, (mine and his), to race in the non-wing and stock classes at Lemoore.
This was the first time Dustin had ever ran on on this California track and finished 2nd in the #56k PMP non-wing after starting 4th and finished 3rd in the #71 PMP stock class after starting 4th. I would also like to point out that Dustin had intended on racing his car, with a stock motor, in the multi-class as well and after time-ins and heat races he was slated to start on the pole in the B-main in the multi-class but opted to scratch and focus instead on his stock and non-wing events. Nice job keeping up with the multi's with your Stock motor Dustin. I have no doubt that if you had one of those $7000 motors you would have finished top three in that class too!
Congratulations to one of Deming's most talented driver's!
