what is the deal with transponders? i understand they are 300? do we give em' back at the end of the season and buy another one next season?  what if we buy one and there is a problem with it?

You can buy one [ not sure where ] Or you rent one

from the track .They give it to you when you sign in .

Then you return it at the end of the race night .

If you just rent them is it included in the car and driver entery fee? or how much is it?

if you buy them they are your's to keep, and you do not have to turn them in at the yr's end.. you also have your entry fee into the track and renting the transponder's is a seperate fee in it's self

Do you know about how much it will cost for the transponder each night?

 

Just got off the phone with Paul, and the transponders are $10 / night.  350 to buy.  you can buy them any time you like.  If you buy them they do come with a charger.
