Ok so we have to use the track fuel, but do we have to use the air around the track or can we bring our own?

Sorry guys, it was on my list for changes, and I must have missed it. I beleive it is part of the old NMMA insert. It has been there for a while, is not enforced (not that I condone ignoring any rule), and would be extremely difficult to enforce without significant burden to teams and officials. Paul's a reasonable guy, perhaps we could get a clarification from the track that "track fuel" for 250's is any comercially available pure methanol, and a NMSA approved oil. The rule does not say 'track distributed' or 'track sold'. Just a thought.

I understood the rule as track approved 2 stroke oil, not that we have to buy the fuel from the track.

I think that's the intent, as 7.4 is the list of approved oils.
