Went well. Good turnout and many new faces.
The membership that was there as well as our officers made it very clear that we need to encourage greater participation in the club (paying dues, attending meetings etc).
I would have preferred the rules that were added/changed last night happen back in the rules meetings, we'll have to make sure everyone puts more thought and effort into those early meetings so we can stop post print rules changes as the system is designed. It sets a dangerous precedent to allow post print rules.
Points Payout was restructured by 2 measures. Ironically, the second basically negated the first, but both were aimed at increasing participation in the club.
-voted to pay season points money to top 10 PAYING members in each class (and eliminated the 75% rule)
-voted to NOT allow points to be accumulated by drivers who don't pay club dues by MAY.
So now we pay season money to the top 10 in each class regardless of attendance.

The other rules change was adopting a reduced weight for wingless shows for the classes who didn't decide it in their rule's meetings.
Brandy managed to collect part of the bad chack debt from the banquet.
Doug stressed the importance of having our class reps and greivance committee.
Dave Boyd will again donate his time as tech inspector, and mentioned the tools for teching 600 and 600rst.
