So does this mean we might be slipping an extra dark week into the 06 schedule? A late August break might be a good way to rejuvinate everyone for those cool september nights, and competing for dirt track fans (even if we do have the better show) won't benefit either track. I kind of miss the 2nd dark week we had for the 360 show.
Just a thought...

So does that mean they will go dark when the new NST comes to Washington too?

I would guess since Freddie is running the National Sprint Tour, they will be at Elma, which we haven't gone dark for. I wouldn't be against another extra dark night, though I'd rather have it for the USAC/CRA show at skagit.

WHAT is wrong with you guys I cani believe that you would like to skip a few nights of racing. Ive been going to deming for going on 18 years and I cannot handle missing a race. I havent missed one in 6 years and this year I have to miss, I think 2 because of graduation stuff. I dont want to miss anymore you are nuts saying that you wouldnt mind missing a extra race or two. Something is seriously wrong here.

I don't why the race track would go dark any extra days than normal for the race season just because two people have voiced the opinion that they want to go watch their future competition or race at the other event. As far as watching future competition goes a lot of other drivers would rather be at Deming racing themselves than watching someone else race.

I agree. Just because a few people want to see the future competition it would be dumb to shut deming down for an extra night.

Sorry to cause such a stir. Just thought I'd bring it up. You all know who has control of these things, it sure ain't me or I'd be looking forward to another clay cup. I mean no heresy to those who enjoy every week from April1 to Oct1. In the past, Deming was dark for the 360 show and Dirt cup, so it's not a new idea to have a couple dark weeks in a season.
Aug. 25-26 WoO return to Skagit.

Again, my appologies.
