I am trying to get some preliminary numbers to find out how many cars would be willing to travel to Cottage Grove Oregon to Race June 11th and June 13th.
The June 11th race would be on the same night as the modifieds and the June 13th would be the same night as the Golden State 410s.
As I have said before several of us took this trip last year and had an absolute blast! You are free to camp in your trailer on site and I believe they also have more traditional camper hook ups etc. There are also hotels within a short distance.
This is a ¼ mile track.Last year we had time-ins, heat races, and an A-main.The payout was based on 100% of our entry fees.
Gearing etc is pretty simple to figure out and I can help with that.Last year I didnt hear anyone hitting their Rev Limit, in fact I personally think it wasnt as hard on my motor and it was some great wide open racing with plenty of room to pass.
Please respond to this e-mail if you would like to commit to going down and I will make sure we have enough cars.
Thanks,
Kelly Mauck

As of now it will only be the 600's.
I will inquire to see if they can accomodate both 600's and 1200's as separate classes or if they would allow us to run together.

Cottage Grove will permit the 1200's and the 600's to run in one class together. We need to decide if we would like to do that to increase the car count. We can keep them separate as far as scoring and run it like we have at Skagit.
How many 1200's would be willing to go down?
Are there any concerns about running the two classes together?
