LOL Clearly! It looks like the poor motor was just plain worn out. No cross hatching in the cylinders period. Who knows how many miles were on it...

GO BARDAHL!
2.5 seasons on our engine (plus it's past life in a bike) and we're at less than 2% leakdown...

What Bardahl products are you using?

Synthetic engine oil, EP grease, Chain Lube, Super Spray... Roland had been using it in the 1200, and we've continued with it in both the 1200 and 600. We changed oil every 4-6 races last year, filter every other change.
We used Bardahl in the 250 transmissions for several years and have gear sets to show how well it worked. Figure around 3000 clutchless shifts in a season for those motors. We went from gears that were sharpened and blued to gears that still showed the machining marks after a season.
Come by our pit, we can give you the specifics of what we're running.

Yes I found a couple of bikes (2001's) it was easier to get a complete bike than it was to find a good motor. Everything goes right we should be back next week!
