Yup- 3rd digit indicates body length, first two indicate body type (steel/alum, threaded/smooth)
The ARS 106x series replaces the old Carrera part number 636x...

I'll double check, but I think most are the ARS dark grey/gunmetal anodized bodies, not the black ones.
