I was at deming on 5-23 and thought I was in the f#ing twlightzone
The 600 drivers in both classes are a bunch of sh*t talkers.  Everyone jumping in everyone faces, threatning people!  Where is the pit boss,  there are so many rules for these drivers but none for the dads and pit bosses. 
  You all know whom you are and should be ashamed of yourselves.  I am surprised nobody opens a can of whoop ass on problem people.  Since the owner of the track dont care about potential fights or confrontations,  its should be open season. 
  This is dirt racing,  it seems like everyone is trying to win the race on the first lap.  For what?  Peanuts on the dollar.  Settle these arguments somewhere 
else or keep them to yourself!  You men got to remember that these drivers are young men whom supposely look up to you dads and handlers.  Act responsible for yourself and stop wearing your heart on your sleeve!!
I will tell everyone I know what a bunch of hicks you men are and see if anyone else wants to spend there gas money to come out and see a bunch of babies!

I am a strong believer in the drivers actually talking things out after the race to learn from each other instead of dads and pit crew yelling at the other crew and driver. half the time the driver has already gotten over what happened on the track!


       ITS REALLY SAD WHEN WE HAVE TO HAVE PEOPLE COME TO OUR TRACK AND SEE THINGS LIKE THIS! THIS SEASON HAS BEEN THE WORST FOR ARGUEMENTS I HAVE EVER SEEN.     I THINK EVERYONE HAS HEARD THE SAYING "CANT WE ALL JUST GET ALONG"



   Come on people lets put a good name out for us and our great track owner that puts out a great track and place to race at!

With so many people in the pit area, the track officials can't be the courtesy police and manage the show.  That said, I am in no way condoning the actions of a select group of individuals last night. In fact it sickens me that as the average driver age has gone down, the instances of immature behavior by adults has increased exponentially.  Deming was established as a track where people can go race affordably and have fun- Let's all do our part to keep it that way...

There are rules for the pit crew members.  They are established (AND ENFORCABLE) by the NMSA as follows:

12.11 Grievance Committee: A committee of 2 members from each class set up to handle

problems relating to club members and disputes. Committee will handle problem

members behaving in a manner that is contrary to common N.M.S.A. etiquette at all N.M.S.A. events and functions. The committee has the authority to suspend members one or more races or until the next N.M.S.A. meeting. Minor infractions will be dealt with according to the committee's discretion. The Grievance Committee will not deal with disputes concerning vehicle safety and technical specifications.

12.12 The rules and regulations of the N.M.S.A. will be followed at all N.M.S.A. racing events.

12.13 Any verbal abuse to any official by a member of a car or crew will AUTOMATICALLY disqualify car and driver for the complete program of that date, so stated renders drivers responsible for his/her crew.

Turning the other cheek is acceptance of the behavior...

To add to the crabtree post... Which i agree with whole-heartedly!!

Here's my thought:  If the deming site administrator could somehow put a block the anonymous posts.... I would be willing to bet money that 80% of the rude comment problem would be solved... It is always sooo easy to hide behind the anonymous post and throw stones.

At the beginning of the season Brandon Turner did a post called the 250 lounge... I think each class could use their own lounges as well...

I have to agree with the Sleepy, the Crabtree's and Starla. I would certainly prefer if everyone would just get along and race. Guess what, that is why there are officials. There is always going to be problems, either on the track or in the pits. I have been on both sides of the fence (or flags) personally and know that there are always decisions and/or discplines to be dealt with. When a race is on the track the officials attention is ON THE TRACK, not in the pits. Often incidents in the pits go unnoticed until someone brings it to an officials attention. Then after listening to everyones (sometimes biased) reports, a decision will be made. Remember there were over 80 cars signed in on Friday, not everything is seen by an official.
Responding to the cowardly post that started this thread: The pit boss has a tough job and is very aware of all the club and track rules. It might take a bit, but, things do get dealt with. "Open season" isn't going to happen, Paul Lemley will not tolerate any of that! When the green flag drops, you race for position, you do not sit back and watch the pack stretch out, by then it is to late. I have to agree some caution would be prudent at times, but, it is a sprint race not an endurance race. You have 25 laps to do your best. Parents, obviously, should be the responsible one of the family, but, it is pretty interesting watching the "kid" of the family trying to calm down Dad. I do believe that there are some very mature "kids" in the pits. I will close saying that credibiilty comes with a name. Don't hide behind your key board and be a problem! Sign your name and help become part of the solution. I hope you will come to me and introduce yourself, see you at the races.

i agree with u starla. i havnt set up my name on here but ill tell u who i am. im andrew i pit for #21 phil schemenauer. i agree he shouldnt hide. yeah people get mad and upset cuz of the stupid drivers that dont go a week without running into someone or doing something stupid.
