The start of a new season is fast approaching. After the results of a great test at Daytona we are heading back to the beach to try and back it all up with a great run. With an un-sponsored car, we are confident in our car as well as my team that we hopefully will run up front all day. With a shot at the pole position on qualifying Friday, we hope to back up our test results and sit on top of the charts.
This up coming weekend is a very busy one at that; we leave for the beach for a 7-hour drive tomorrow morning. We have tech inspection on Tuesday and Wednesday and finally hitting the track Thursday afternoon for a 5-hour test session.
Friday is a big day with qualifying at noon. Following qualifying on Friday is happy hour or last and final test session of the week before the big race. With 78 cars expected to show up, qualifying is very crucial to do well in.
On the 9th of February is the big race day. This will the biggest event I have ever partaken in, at a track most dream of racing on. This is the big one, a great accomplishment for myself and hopefully will help benefit us and help us seek sponsorship for the remainder of the ARCA Remax Schedule.
The race will be live on SPEED Channel, next Saturday February 9th, at 1:00 PST.
